Desert Horizon

Desert Horizon is about thresholds or the level where something starts to change or happen. This piece is a meditation on growth and stillness, the transition between earth and sky, and what is remembered and what is here now.

In this piece, a single burgundy line splits the piece in two and acts as both horizon and anchor, holding the sky and the earth in balance. Below the sky, ochre and amber tones suggests sunbaked hills. In the lower half of the composition the weathered texture have a geological quality suggesting salt flats, or ancient rock formations bearing the marks of wind, water, and time. Even in hot and dry places, life leaves a mark.

Perfect for those who appreciate abstract landscapes, natural textures, and the quiet majesty of desert environments.
